The blog is back. At least for a little while.

Even though I haven't been traveling, it's not that I haven't been doing exciting things in these past 4 months.. Michael arrived from Australia. There was a trip to Oregon (oh yeah, there was some travel). There was Christmas. There was snowshoeing up to Elfin Lakes for New Years' Eve. An interesting environmental conference. A weekend in Whistler and Michael's first introduction to skiing. First-time igloo-building. A miniature backcountry skiing trip. Winning a game of poker. Finishing my application to the Education Program at Malaspina. A trip to Red Heather with Matt and some crazy charades. And just this weekend, a snowshoeing trip to Garibaldi Lake. I'm sure there was plenty more that was worthy of note in those months too. Somehow I just didn't get around to blogging about it.

Anyhoo. The time seems to have come to get back to it. In less than two weeks now, mom, Michael and I will be off to the Grand Canyon and other destinations in the southwest corner of the states. Hopefully I will have a chance once in a while during that period to write a little something here. And maybe, just maybe, I will have something to say before that too.
